Harmony With Your Creative SelfDescription: As an artist and a Feng Shui practitioner, I know that we are all connected to one another, to our environment, to form relationships, which would enrich our lives. Upon our first breathe of life enters our Ming Gua (life force) which is affiliated to us. This life force influences our character and how we relate to others. The understanding that we are complex beings, and that our Ming Gua is related to the five elements ( fire, earth, metal, water and wood) and the eight cardinal directions say a lot about our behavior and determines our best directions for productivity and rest. Our Ming Gua can be related to our spirit, our inner self, our true self. We are body, mind and spirit and to let all these forces play and intertwine together bring about a harmonious symphony, the balance we all seek. This workshop will begin by introducing each person to their Ming Gua, through fundamental Feng Shui calculation which is based on your year of birth and gender. Knowing your best direction to face is the start of exploring your inner self. Each session will bring forth the knowledge that creativity is the natural order of life. Life is energy: pure creative energy! Individuals will explore non representational art techniques and find joy with painting using water-based medium. This workshop is designed for adults, beginner to intermediate who want to learn to express themselves creatively by exploring their life force, to respond to feeling and to listen to their true self.
