Hi Marissa, Just wanted to say thanks for the fun workshop!  I really needed some inspiration for the shapes and compositions in my abstract art and you shared a lot of fun techniques that I look forward to using.  I especially love the cropped and shadow techniques.  Thanks again!  I'll post any new paintings on my website at   www.DeaRobertsArt.com .

Hi Marissa:

I just wanted to thank you, as well, for a very enjoyable and educational weekend. I do feel inspired! I really liked our little group and feel like we had good energy between us. Hopefully we can all get together for another painting session in the near future.

 Please keep me in mind if you are offering any other courses at Curry's, especially during the day. I'm always looking to learn and explore something new.

Thanks Marissa, I got the e-mail (obviously).  I really enjoyed myself on the weekend and you inspired me to get back into painting.  I've found a companion picture for the yellow violet (I wanted a pair) and I also found a fabulous one for one of the giant canvases I purchased Sunday.  Once I get started, three pictures at once, there won't be room for anything else in my breakfast room!  Oh, well, I guess I'll just stop eating!!

Hi Marissa,

I came home feeling I have unlocked the door to a new medium.
Having realized that a beginner Acrylic course would have been to my benefit, I still feel I have gained so much.
Your contribution to my knowledge base was a bit overwhelming at first, but having reviewed my copious notes, i believe I will be a convert.

I love your style,.."sexy flowers", "in the zone" etc. makes for an atmosphere of learning as well as fun.
I come from a scientific background, a Nursing Professor/ Nurse Practitioner and am enjoying the sponge-like openness in my "right  brain.

Our group will be meeting this week and I will have a lot to share and look forward to.
